I've seen other sailboats named "Heart of Gold" and wondered if they were fans or if the name came from somthing else. I really like the name, reminds me of the women in my life. Tim

Fri, May 26, 2006 - 12:00 PMThere's an old rock song about "searching for a heart of gold" which could also be the reaons for some of the boats to carry than name. Likewise, I think more boats are named "Southern Cross" because of the song than because of any affinity for the constellation (which isn't even visible from most of the northern hemisphere).
My favorite has always been "Tihsllub". I didn't get it until I saw the reflection of the name in the water. -
